What is relay interpreting?
Relay interpreting is a multi-stage interpreting method for conferences with many languages, where interpretation is carried out via a relay language (pivot).
Example: A Finnish speaker is first interpreted into English (pivot), and from there simultaneously conveyed into all other target languages. This significantly reduces the number of interpreters required.
